“My previous psychiatrist prescribed Xanax as one of my medications. After taking Xanax for years, I attempted to wean off. Due to significant withdrawal symptoms, I ended up in an outpatient substance abuse/mental health facility for two months. At that facility, Latifah Oparison was assigned as my APN. Latifah afforded me the time to listen to my concerns. She was very careful to offer medications that were not habit-forming. Although I ended up trying different medications, she found the ones that enabled me to recuperate from the withdrawal symptoms. After two months, I was back at work! Like nothing ever happened! I have been seeing her for over four years now, and I haven’t had any further issues.”
